We accept clothing & shoes for the entire family.  We also accept purses, jewelry, accessories, and home décor.  All items must be current, trendy styles, no more than 3 years old, and in excellent condition. We do not accept anything that is not freshly laundered, and items must be free of stains, holes, smoke & pet odors, pet hair, excessive wear, and damage.  Refer to our policy, seasonal guidelines, and list of do's and don'ts BEFORE EVERY drop-off.  

 

When dropping off, please ensure your items are neatly folded in a trash bag, storage tub or box. WE WILL ONLY LOOK THROUGH A MEDIUM SIZED GROUP, for example, 1 trash bag, medium tote, etc. We no longer accept items on hangers. We will look through your items immediately and return any unacceptable items you may have missed.  You must wait in the store while we go through your items. If you are unable to wait, we'll as you to return with your items at a later time. Drop-off times end one hour before closing each day. ALL ITEMS MUST BE INSPECTED BEFORE THEY ARE BROUGHT IN OR YOU MAY BE CHARGED AN EXTRA 10-20% PER ITEM THAT WE ARE ABLE TO KEEP.  IN EXTREME CASES, EVERYTHING WILL BE RETURNED!!! Defective items not discovered during the initial inspection will be automatically donated.

 

Consignors agree to receive texts from FHCB to keep you updated with current information regarding your account.  

 

To keep your account active, consignors must consign at least twice a year.

 

FIRST TIME CONSIGNORS

Read through our seasonal guidelines and list of do's and don'ts and inspect your items accordingly.  For your first visit, please bring in your TOP 25 ITEMS ONLY!! This allows us to see if you have what sells best in our store. They may be neatly folded in a basket or bag, and you drop them off anytime during business hours. We must be able to keep 20 of the 25 items to set you up as a consignor.  If we say, “No thank you”, please understand that we select items based on the knowledge of what sells in our store to maintain a high-quality inventory.  We will notify you through text when your items have been gone through and whether or not we will be able to set up an account for you.

 

PRICING, MARKDOWNS,  CONSIGNMENT SPLIT

Fianna Hills Consignment Boutique will establish the selling price of all items and the timing and percentages of any sales and markdowns including discount cards, and seasonal and promotional sales.  Consignors will receive the following percentage of the selling price:

40% on items under $100

50% on items $100+

60% on items $250+

70% on items $500+

80% on items $1,000+

 

Items are consigned for 60 days except for formal dresses, which are consigned from August till May.  Any formals not picked up by May 31st will become property of Fianna Hills Consignment Boutique.

 

Consignors may pick up their earnings in store as cash or apply it towards purchases.  Balances over 

$200 may require a check which may take up to 48 hours to process.  We do not call regarding balances or mail checks. 

 

Consignors agree to forfeit any money left on their account to charity if they cannot be reached after 1 year.

END OF CONSIGNMENT

Consignors may pick up unsold items BEFORE the 60 day expiration date.  Consignors are responsible for knowing when that date is and for pulling their items off the floor.  A printout can be requested at the front counter for a list of unsold items.  After items are retrieved, they MUST be checked out at the front counter.  You may not reconsign items that are picked up.

 

Any items remaining after the expiration date will become property of Fianna Hills Consignment Boutique and subject to donation. 

 

LIABILITIES

Fianna Hills Consignment Boutique takes many precautions to avoid theft and damage to items, however we are not responsible for any lost, damaged, or stolen items while on consignment.

 

AUTHENTICITY POLICY

We DO NOT sell counterfeit designer goods. Items that cannot be verified by our research or the owner's documentation will be returned to the consignor.
